Educational Programs

Middle School:

A full-time program that serves grades 7 through 9 offers a small "Learning Community" atmosphere.  A group of 16 students maximum rotate between two teachers and an instructional aide.  We emphasize basic academic and social skill development, along with hands-on activities including art and horticulture.

 


Adult Basic Education (ABE):

A half-time program for 10th through 12th grades and adults 19 and older that meets twice per week for two hours at a time.  Students work independently to earn their High School Diploma or GED.  This program has helped more that 24 potential high school dropouts earn their diploma or GED in the last 3 years.


Senior High School:

A full-time program that serves grades 10 through 12 that also offers a small group atmosphere, but allows students more elective opportunties than Middle School.  A group of 20 students maximum rotate between two teachers and an instructional aide.  In this program we expand on academic and social skill development with more hands-on activities including art, community service, outdoor recreation and music.  We also offer credit retrieval through independent study.
