We are excited that the weather has broke and we think we will be able to play in some games. Softball will be home today (4/21) for a double header against Days Creek starting at 3 PM. Baseball will be at Elkton and will start at 4:30 PM. We will still be the designated home team. Go Irish

Athletic update. I think all of the dominoes have fallen. Jr. High Track Practice has been canceled. HS Softball game has been canceled and practice will be 330 to 500 in the high school gym. High School baseball will practice at 5:00 PM in the gym.

The scholarships below are the ones we need to be focusing on at this time. The Oregon Logging Conference Scholarship, Oregon Jaycee Foundation Scholarship, Vietnam Veterans of America, Riddle Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, Ben Walker Scholarship, Oregon Small Schools Association, Douglas Timber Operators, Rotary Club Scholarship, Canyonville Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, B. Davis Scholarship, and Tyrone Snowden Woods Wrestling Foundation.

We will have a senior help night on Wednesday, April 20th starting right after 5th period in Hobson's room. The scholarships start to run out a week or two into May, so you need to get as many scholarships as possible done before then.

There have been some changes to the Jr. High Track Schedule. The location of the meet has been moved to Oakland Middle School and will start at 4:30 instead of the usual 4:00 PM. Due to this, the bus will leave Riddle High School at 3:00 PM.

HS Softball Practice has been canceled tonight (4/18). Practice will resume tomorrow afternoon.

Today's (4/18) High School Baseball game at Lowell has been canceled due to weather.

Hello Riddle IRISH! We have Parent Conferences on Monday April 18, so there will be no school for students. The Riddle Jr./Sr. High School conferences will run from 8am-10am; 12pm-4pm; and 5pm-7pm. Homeroom teachers have already begun to reach out to parents to discuss student performance and if parents would like to set-up a time to come into school on Monday the 18th. Of course, parents can come in anytime during conference times. South County Athletics/Riddle Summer Rec is in need of umpires for 10u softball. Knowledge of the game is a must. $50 a game. Please contact Nate Pratt at 5416808912. Thank you for helping our youth.

High school softball practice will be in the high school gym from 4:30-6:00 PM tonight, Wednesday 4/13.

This was sent to me today. If you are interested, let me know. I was contacted by A & M Trucking in Glendale yesterday regarding a diesel mechanic position that they have available. They are currently looking for an 18 year old motivated young person that lives in South County who wants to be a diesel mechanic. They will train the right person. If you have any student that you feel would be interested please let me know and I can direct them to the right person at A & M.
