We will have a senior help night on Wednesday, February 9th starting at 2:00 PM. Remember the senior help night can be used for scholarships, college applications, homework, job research, or other necessary activities.

The Southern Oregon representative will be here on Wednesday, February 9th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Any senior may meet with the Southern Oregon representative. Seniors with a 3.2 or above GPA may be offered scholarship money. You will also be able to complete and submit your application for free. You will find out if you have been accepted that day.

Tomorrow, JV Boys game has been cancelled. Varsity Girls Basketball game will start at 6:00 PM. Boys Basketball will practice after school on the HS Floor.

HS Boys Basketball has qualified for league playoffs to be hosted at Marshfield HS. Our first game will be Friday 2/18 at 3:30 PM. We are staying at the Edgewater Hotel in Coos Bay. Saturday's game time is still dependent on Friday night's game.

A few basic announcements. Today at the elementary school, High Girls BB practice at 2:15 and JV Boys Basketball Practice @ 4:00. HS wrestling at the HS begins at 5:00. Senior night will be moved to Saturday.

The High School Boys Basketball game Friday night @ New Hope has been postponed. The Girls game is still scheduled for a 6 pm start. More information to follow.

High School Wrestling is tomorrow at Rogue River. Unfortunately, Rogue River is not allowing spectators at this event. They are planning on livestreaming the event at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5zKJHv5eUwQgTJmaINDHXg

Due to circumstances outside of our control, High School cheerleading is being postponed at this time until January 31. This means that cheerleaders will not be cheering at tonight's game.

Hello Riddle Irish. Lance Puckett, an aide for our high school, is conducting a phone survey for the principal so we can gather important data on what our school does well, what we need to improve on and overall atmosphere of our school. Thank you and GO IRISH!

Jr. High Girls Basketball practice has been cancelled for the week. It will resume Wednesday 1/26 at the regular time. High School Girls Basketball practice has been cancelled tonight as well as the game tomorrow night vs. North Douglas. High School Boys basketball practice will be at 3:15 today and the game tomorrow will be at 6:00 PM. Thank you for understanding as things change.

We have seen some changes in Saturday's High School Basketball Game schedules at Yoncalla. The girls game has been postponed to 2/10 and the Boys game will be played on Saturday at 6:00 PM.

Due to a lack of players, this week's Jr. High Girls Basketball games have been canceled. They will have a meeting today in Mr. Klaessy's room at 2 pm and will return to practice on Thursday and Friday at normal times.

Tomorrow's JV game against Illinois Valley has been canceled. Varsity Girls will start at 6:00 PM with Boys Varsity following. Illinois Valley is limiting fans in the stands to two visiting fans per player. We must provide a guest list to them at the beginning of the night. Please call into our office starting tomorrow morning at 8 am and have your name put on the list by 2:00 PM. More instructions to follow.

I have posted the Wixson, Josh Bidwell Athletic, and Josh Bidwell General Scholarships on Naviance today. All three scholarships are for students in Douglas County. The only requirements for the Wixson are that you attend school in South Douglas County, complete the entire application, and you must sign it. Get started on these scholarships as soon as possible.
